Bob Taunton’s New Mexico and Idaho Community Partnerships Stand as Models of Development
BOISE, Idaho – Members of Urban Land Institute’s Idaho District Council have prepared an interesting exhibit of the Idaho “City in 2050” as a feature of ULI’s annual meeting scheduled September 15 at the Hoff Building in downtown Boise.
ULI’s annual meeting is open to the public and to its hundreds of Idaho members. A no-host networking session begins at 4 p.m. Cost is as low as $15 for students, $25 for members and $40 for non-members. ULI encourages media to attend the visioning session free of charge.
City leaders and members of the real estate and planning communities have contributed content to the “City in 2050” exhibit, which will be on display during the annual meeting.
“Visioning is one of the ways we can begin to shape the quality of the community we want, and ULI appreciates this opportunity to serve in the role of catalyst for this look ahead,” said Bob Taunton, chairman of ULI’s Idaho District Council.
Michael Horst, senior resident fellow for leadership of Washington, D.C.-based ULI, will offer a keynote speech on the “Blueprints for Change.”
